Have we lost our minds and souls so completely to celebrity worship that drivel like Mr. and Mrs. Smith can thrive and prosper?. It's not perfect. It's like a marriage.. Pitt and Jolie make sexy sparring partners, but they can't lift this leaden material.. A movie so in love with itself it hardly needs us at all.. Very good.. The studio must have reasoned that Jolie and Brad Pitt are movie stars, so anything they do would be seen as fun and attractive -- and what could be more fun and attractive...
